Summer Must Have : Hammamas : In Store Now

We are so excited to have just received these in store!

Hammammas are more than just a beach towel, they are one of the most practical and versatile items you will use this Summer and beyond.
These hand weaved, pure cotton towels are made from the finest quality local Turkish cotton. They absorb water as fast as a normal towel, dry very quickly and wrap up to nothing making them easy to carry. Because they are super compact they are the perfect travel towel.
They also double as baby wraps, bath towels, picnic rugs, table cloths and throw overs.

We have a fantastic range of colours to suit both the guys and the girls
as well as some fantastic Baby Hammamas for the stylish little peeps.

As seen in Vogue, Real Living and Inside Out Magazines...
Once you have used a Hammama you will never go back to a normal beach towel!

* I have to admit I sneakily grabbed a few Hammamas off our lovely friends who produce these some time ago. Last weekend I took three to the beach for myself, Francisco and Lucian had his baby Hammama.
I swear by these, such beautiful quality and so much easier than carting around three big towels!

:: Now in store : Yak wool throws & scarves ::

We have just received a delivery of the most incredibly soft and ultra cosy
Yak Wool throws and scarves.
The throws are a large 2 x 2.5 metres and have arrived just in time
as the cool weather looks to have finally hit us.

Studies have shown that Yak's Wool is around 10-15% warmer than merino,
and more durable and resilient to pilling than cashmere.

Yak Wool : the new Cashmere?
Tibetan nomads hold the secret to one of the world’s softest and most valuable wools: not cashmere, merino or vicuna, but yak. These shaggy beasts are the unexpected providers of sought-after shawls to French fashion
houses.

At an altitude of 3,200 metres where temperatures plunge below minus 30c nomadic people are outnumbered five to one by yaks, the sturdy beasts who have supported nomads for centuries, providing everything from butter and cheese to dung for fuel, and, beneath a thick layer of coarse hair, the softest wool imaginable.
Yak wool is warmer than merino, as soft as cashmere and as tough as camel, and so has made a welcome addition to a marketplace that is growing weary of cashmere.

: : In Store : Smith's Rosebud Salve : :

Smith's Rosebud Salve is one of the very best balms there is.
I keep this in my bag every day, everywhere I go.
Voted one of Vogue's top 100 Beauty Buys, this  cult favourite has been famous for over 100 years.
Recently re-discovered by make-up artists around the world this gentle balm contains cottonseed oil
and various essential oils including rose oil.

Thanks to it's restorative properties it is the ideal companion for sunburn
as well as to assist in softening dry, rough skin, redness and even nappy rash.
Rosebud Salve is also perfect for travel as an eye make-up remover,
cuticle softener, dry skin healer and frizzy hair fighter.
It is also a wonderful gloss to highlight eyelids and cheeks.
